IPL technology is designed to rejuvenate the skin while reversing the signs of sun damage. Healthier-looking skin is achievable with no downtime, no pain and no invasive procedures. In fact, clients can resume normal activities immediately!
The 20 to 30-minute treatment uses a series of gentle pulses over the treatment area to improve the appearance of dark spots, sunspots, rosacea, age spots and skin texture. Due to its effectiveness, IPL is an affordable and non-invasive answer for improving the appearance of skin on the face, chest, hands, and body.
Since the handheld device employs emits pulses of broad spectrum light to influence the skin on a molecular level, there is no need for any incisions or injections. It acts on the deeper layers of skin, making it ideal for treating broken capillaries, sun damage, and other impurities.
In addition to the hardware, the user-friendly interface allows technicians to choose which hand-piece and provides multiple preprogrammed selections for different indications. The energy levels can be adjusted based on your skin type and the area to be targeted. Intensity will vary depending on whether the energy is used to eliminate hyperpigmentation.
IPL delivers high intensity pulses of broadband light that is non-ablative, meaning that is does not damage the surface of the skin.
Using various wavelengths of light in each pulse, IPL penetrates deep into the dermis layer to target the specific problem areas or skin concern, leaving the top layers of the skin unaffected.
After treatment, pigmentation begins to darken and eventually flake off on its own revealing clear and smooth skin.
For optimal results, a series of 3 to 5 treatments is recommended. Treatments are spaced approximately three weeks apart. You may desire additional treatments once or twice a year to maintain results.
The benefits of IPL can last for many years. Annual touch-ups are recommended to keep your skin looking its best.
Immediately apply moisturizer and a full spectrum sunscreen of at least SPF 30 protecting against UVA and UVB rays. Wear full spectrum sunscreen of at least SPF 30 protecting against UVA and UVB rays, every day on the treated area for at least 30 days (failure to do so can result in complications and skin damage). Avoid the sun as much as possible for the duration of the treatment plan as well as the next 30 days following the final IPL photofacial treatment.
Unlike other treatments, IPL offers rejuvenating results by penetrating the deeper layers of the skin leaving the surface undamaged. IPL treatment requires no downtime, appearing in most cases as if one has just a slight sunburn or exercised on a cardio machine for an hour. Clients can book an appointment on their lunch break and go back to work right after.

Operational Mode – Continuous Operation
Treatment Wavelength – Wave length of SR treatment Handpiece: 560nm – 1200nm;
Wave length of HR treatment Handpiece: 690nm – 1200nm
Repetition Rate – 2-10 for FP mode
Maximum Energy Density – HR treatment Handpiece: 45J/cm2±20%;
SR treatment Handpiece: 40J/cm2±20%
The device is applicable in skin treatment of sun damage, freckle, age pigment, tiny wrinkle, varicose veins as well as in the removal of unnecessary hair.
The mechanism of treatment is based on light’s selective absorption effects. Controlled by a computer system, the equipment is composed of a main console, control panel, and treatment Handpiece. The operating and controlling parts are placed in the main console box. Built-in integrated microcontroller consecutively monitoring the operation of equipment. The controlling system consists of a 10.4-inch touch screen, key switch and emergency shut off knob.
To ensure safety for both the technician and client there is the – Emergency Shutoff Knob: shut power supply in an emergency. The emergency shut off knob allows the output of intense pulsed light to be stopped immediately in emergency circumstances. The Key Switch is designed to turn on and off the power of the equipment – In order to avoid unauthorized usage, the machine can only be started when the key is inserted to the controlling lock and turned to the “ON” position.
The IPL Photofacial equipment includes Liquid Crystal Display (LCD): display specific information of operating system; Main Console: built-in cooling system, power system, control system, and integrated circuit.
The screen displays system’s working mode, parameter and times of light spot treatment. Treatment Handpiece is composed of intense light emitter, handle switch and transmitting system.
The IPL includes 2 treatment handpieces. You can choose a handpiece in the following interface based on treatment requirements. Three different treatment Handpieces are allocated: HR/SR/VR. Among them, HR and SR are standard configurations. You could always choose to add the VR handpiece.
HR is used for hirsutism treatment and excessive hair removal; SR is used for exogenous and endogenous pigments removal such as blue, black and brown pigment lesions. VR (optional) is mainly used for abnormal skin vascular treatments.
